Spring, La Priere, 1940.

Stella, an adventurous and fearless peasant, lived in a small town in the French countryside and dreamed of living in a big city and living a beautiful love.

With a lot of bravery, patience and persistence, she decided to open a boutique to sell flowers, which were of enormous importance in her life as they conveyed peace and love – virtues that were essential for her – and one day managed to conquer her desire.

Dustin, a young writer from a large city, decides to travel to seek inspiration for the novel he was writing, and during his trip, he passes briefly through the small town of La Priere.

On the way, he is enchanted by a flower boutique, which even small gives him a delicate and charming aroma. Upon entering it, Dustin comes across a young woman caring for them like the most precious jewels. For a few moments, as if time has stopped, he is fascinated by her. Stella, noticing the young man entering her store, falls in love at first sight and embarrassed politely greets him.

Curious and instigated, Dustin visits the boutique day after day to seek inspiration and write his novel, falling more and more in love with the beautiful peasant girl at every turn.

After a few weeks, he decides to return to the big city to deliver his new work, called My Rose. He left, but his heart stayed with La Priere and the memory of the girl who remembered him daily for several months.

A few years passed, until finally Stella completed her goal and went full-heartedly to the big city. Arriving there, she began to observe the houses, buildings, cars that they had in that city, seeming to be in another world.

One day he decided to go to a bookstore and fell in love with a book full of roses on its cover, with the name: My Rose. When he got home he spent the rest of the night reading the book and identifying himself with every word written in the story. in him.

She anxiously and impatiently goes in search of the author, to find out who that poet was who had left her fixated and trapped in the beautiful story. Searching for her, she discovers that the author would be in a small bookstore the next morning signing a few copies.

The next day, she goes to the bookstore anxious to find the author of that book she loved so much. Arriving there, she discovers that her much sought after lover was the guy she watched and visited her boutique every day in that small town.

When Stella’s turn to sign the book arrives, Dustin realizes that he has found the beautiful peasant woman who inspired him to write that book and, with trembling hands, takes a rose from the arrangement beside him and hands it over, saying: “I finally found you, My Rose”.
